Magnetraction shifts the control, edgehold, and power from your tip & tail to under your foot where your balance is centered. The nose and tail are no longer the primary tools used in turn initiation. The bumps in front and behind your feet are progressively less aggressive. This results in a more catch-free tip and tail, better control for freestyle tricks and less falls. The most aggressive bumps are under your feet for maximum edgehold and control where you need it.
The extra edgehold you get allows you to ride your narrow ass snowboards de-tuned for the park and rails and still get great edgehold al over the mountain. Take a file and round your edges so they don't hang up on rails, boxes or ledges. Then go ride everywhere!
